Interview with a Karys

Hello everyone! Today we have a very special guest interview from Jase Karys. He is one of the brothers author Rebecca Zanetti writes. I love all Rebecca’s characters, however Jase and I’m hoping his future love interest are my favorite so far. I really hope that the love interest i hope he has is the one Rebecca uses but if not I suppose I will survive, although I will not be happy. Remember that Rebecca’s first book in the Dark Protector Series is Fated, and book two, Claimed comes out next month. You all will have a chance to win a copy of Fated today.  So, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the youngest and sexiest Karys brother, Jase:

1. Having such badass and famous brothers does this make you want to be even more than they are? 

No, not really.   We went to war the first time when I was a teenager, and well, I did what I had to do.  Sometimes I wonder who I’d be if I hadn’t killed so young.  But I don’t really explore this much—it’s kind of a raw wound with my brother, Dage.  So free loving and carefree is what you see and get.  For now.

2. With Talen finding his mate, and Dage about to try to wrangle his mate, are you next?

Oh, hell no.  I have no plans to find a mate.  I mean, I really like my sisters-in-law, but I sure don’t want to be responsible for anyone else like that.  Trust me, those plans of my taking a mate a couple of books from now?  NOT going to happen.

3. I’ve heard you have a dark side, can you tell us a little about this side. So far all we’ve seen you as a fun loving yet ready to defend the innocent guy. What’s this dark side? 

Don’t listen to rumors, Sayde.  If my dark side really came out, I don’t think you’d like me much.  So let’s just hope it doesn’t.

4. With the realm at war, what is your job? Where will you go next and what are you going to be doing?

Well now, there’s the rub.  I have some talents…can harness the elements as well as brain waves…so like it or not, Dage is going to have to send me into battle against the demons.  Demons mess with your brains like you wouldn’t believe.  No matter how hard I fight, how strong I am, there’s a very good chance I won’t make it back.  Or, if I do, it won’t be pretty.  I think I’d rather go out in a blaze of glory rather than come back damaged.  But, you know as well as I do that my brothers won’t let that happen.  They’ll bring me back whether I want them to or not.  Then, well, you’ll probably see my dark side.

5. Love, ever been in it with someone other than family?

 Nope.  Well, maybe.  I mean, I’ve loved a lot of women.  For a short time.  Though I’ve never acted all Alpha and crazy like Talen and Dage.  My plan is to stick with lots of women and not let just one tie me in knots.  Good plan, right?

6.  What is your special talent? Dage is a leader, Conn a warrior, Talen strategy, Kane is a scientist, so what is it that you are best at?

It depends who you talk to.  Dage sees me as charming…kind of the pr guy of the Realm.  Conn sees me as a fighter with a unique skillset—I can harness all elements and cause some serious problems.  Talen sees me as a chess player that sometimes sees moves in advance.  And Kane sees me as a thinker…someone to bounce ideas off of.

Basically, I’m their younger brother and they see what they want to see.  The truth?  I’m a killer.  Have been since I was fifteen.  Don’t tell anybody.
